Description

This tab contains settings related to the emulator.

Virtual machine

This setting cannot be changed at this time.

Default virtual machine name

The VM selected here will be used in ProjectMaker (unless another VM is explicitly selected).

This VM will be ignored by ZennoDroid when randomly selected from the list of available ones. You can read more about how ZennoDroid chooses a machine for work in the article - Selecting and starting a virtual machine (ZD)

Refresh

This button allows you to refresh the list of available virtual machines.

Limit frame rate (recommended)

This setting affects the FPS of launched emulators. If the option is enabled, then the specified number of frames will be forcibly installed for all launched emulators.

This is the same setting in Memu

Disable audio output (recommended)

Disable sound of emulators.
Turning off the sound reduces the load of the CPU.

Mute microphone

Disables the use of the microphone in the emulator.

Enable GPU memory optimization (recommended)

Allows you to reduce the load of the video card.

Disable Anti-Flicker (recommended)

The "anti-flickering" feature allows you to solve the thrill of the image, which allows you to improve the image display.

When you start multiple emulators at the same time, it is recommended to turn off the anti-flickering to reduce the load of the system.

Disable ads (recommended)

There is a built-in advertising display in the MEMU launcher. It can break the logic of the project because advertising is displayed on top of all windows. It is recommended to disable it.

Capture images with MJPEG (not recommended)

An alternative way to capture images from a virtual machine.

This setting should be enabled if the launching of the emulator always failed with the error “Failed to capture image” in the log.

Virtual machine loading timeout

This is the time allotted for loading the emulator. If it was not possible to load within the time allotted here, then the execution will end with an error.

Add curl command to the virtual machine

Newer versions of Memu add the cURL utility by default, but only for Android 7.1.
This setting allows you to add the utility to older versions of the Memu emulator, as well as to emulators based on Android 5.1.

Apply profiles settings when starting the virtual machine

At the start of each new execution, a new profile is generated (IMEI, SimSerial, phone number, phone model, and other parameters).
If this setting is enabled, then these parameters will be applied to the emulator when it starts.
